Rebecca Sheehan

Rebecca Sheehan joined the KSDK NewsChannel 5 team in May 2016.

She’s no stranger to reporting the news in St. Louis; she worked as a reporter for FOX 2 for three years, where she covered numerous topics, including a multi-part investigation that led to the Attorney General suing a cemetery for its substandard conditions. Her story on the dangers first responders face daily when drivers don’t change lanes was nominated for an Emmy.

Before moving to St. Louis, Rebecca was an anchor/reporter in Huntsville, Alabama, where she covered the extensive aftermath of EF-5 tornadoes that devastated the entire region. She began her career at WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina, and graduated Cum Laude from Duke University. Rebecca was born and raised in the New York City area.

In her spare time, Rebecca designs jewelry and enjoys growing her small business, SoulShine Designs. She is also passionate about yoga and animals, and volunteers at the Animal Protective Association. She loves spending time with her husband, John, two stepchildren and two cats.

Rebecca is always looking for story ideas! If you know of anything newsworthy happening, feel free to send her an email at, or send her a message on Facebook or Twitter.
