Trevor Noah, the host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show", will perform at the Peabody Opera House next spring.

The stand-up comedian who was born in Africa has built a hugely-successful comedy career, including nine comedy specials, his New York Times bestselling book “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood,” numerous award nominations, and two seasons as host of his own late night talk show, "Tonight with Trevor Noah," before joining "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" in 2014 as a contributor.

His St. Louis show will take place on Friday, May 11 at the Peabody Opera House.
