A fortune teller once told Liz Kuster of Chesterfield that she'd one day appear on Jeopardy! and that she'd retire wealthy in her 40s.
Well, one half of that fortune came true on Monday when Kuster had the opportunity to compete on the trivia game show.
Unfortunately, a risky bet cost her the game when she wagered $8,001 of her $8,400 winnings on an incorrect guess during the Final Jeopardy question.
Perhaps Kuster will still be able to retire wealthy in her 40s, but Jeopardy! will not be the reason she gets to do so.
