La Ville is a clothing boutique stocked with the trendiest looks but this time of year, prom dresses take over part of the store and owner Jacqueline Madey wouldn't have it any other way.
"The dresses behind me are so insanely sparkly, I love it," she said.
La Ville has been receiving calls about prom dresses since December.
"A lot of proms happen mid April, late April, early May and with a lot of girls wanting to grab their dress and have it exclusively to them, they're shopping early... We only sell one dress in that color to any school... and we don't want to run the risk of someone having your dress on," she said.
A huge trend this year is a plunging neckline.
"Plunges have been really popular. Moms don't worry, they all have a mesh insert in them so you don't have to worry about issues there. We are seeing more plunges, less cutouts," she said.
There are some short dresses and two piece dresses, but long dresses seem to be the most popular.
She said, "Some dresses do have a little bit of train on them. Some people love it, some don't. That's the fun part about shopping with us... we'll talk you through it."
Lace is also a huge trend this year. But It's not just dresses, La Ville also carries a special line of jewelry just for prom.
The owner said, "We brought in Jim Ball designs. He does all Swarovski designs. We have set pieces you can purchase but if your dress is a specific color, as long as Swarovski makes the same color stone, Jim will make that custom earring for you at the same price."
And if you dont see what you like, La Ville can order it for you in size 00 to 24 but don't wait too long to get the dress of your dreams.
"We've had girls from Columbia and California, Missouri. It's insane," she said.
