Rachel's Grove in Chesterfield features all female clothing designers

A shop that supports female designers

Rachel's Grove in Chesterfield is about to celebrate three years in business. That's three years of bright colors, comfortable clothes, and cute looks for all ages. The inspiration for the store comes from Rachel Forst's nieces.

Rachel Forst, "My two nieces were involved in the Miss America system... through their journey we would visit all these independently owned women's clothing boutiques that support other women especially in the pageant system."

After learning all about different clothing lines, the timing was right for them to open a boutique of their own. A boutique that's passionate about supporting female designers.

"All of our designers but one are women. One of our designers, Mark Jenkins, makes fabulous shoes and he lives here in st. louis and was in the shoe business for years.

You'll find all of the clothing at Rachel's Grove is made by women.

"Jude Connally, Analili, Parker Smith," she said.

And the list goes on.

"When you start thinking about who knows best, what women really need, it's women," she said.

Not only will you find clothes, shoes, and accessories, but there are some gift items like stemless wine glasses with fun sayings that are flying off the shelves.

"The one that has resonated are the Real Housewives of... so Chesterfield, Wildwood, Ladue, Ballwin, Ellisville," she said.

"Whether you're staying in with your wine glass or going out in a hot new dress, Rachel's Grove is where you go to find a real conversation piece," she said.
