The same people who opened Olive and Oak in Webster Groves nearly two years ago, now have a second restaurant.

Mark Hinkle said, "I don't know that we were necessarily looking to open a new concept just yet but having the opportunity to go into the space next door, a landmark space in Webster Groves, we were excited to take on the opportunity."

Where the Webster Groves Bookshop was for more than half a century, you'll now find The Clover and The Bee

"It was sad to see them go but a unique opportunity to jump in to a space that meant a lot to people in the neighborhood," he said.

The fast casual cafe is serving up breakfast and lunch in a cozy setting. You'll be greeted by an array of sweet and savory pastries as soon as you walk in. The menu also includes a biscuit breakfast sandwich.

"Just a really good buttermilk biscuit, great sausage, egg, American cheese. Simple but delicious," Mark said.

And for lunch, they're serving dishes like carrot salad, burrata sandwich, and seared yellowfin tuna.

"Seared rare, seeded rice, pomegranate molasses glaze, cabbage slaw," he said.

You can also just come in for a snack or grab a latte, a sparkling water, or an adult beverage. And there's more to come at The Clover and The Bee.

"Hopefully, roll dinner out early next year," he said.

So if you're a fan of Olive and Oak, you'll have to add The Clover and The Bee to your list of restaurants to try.
