ST. LOUIS – Asparagus agave quinoa flavored ice cream is a real thing and you can get it in St. Louis.

Clementine’s Creamery says the ice cream takes sweet, crunchy agave-covered quinoa to a whole new level with fresh-farm asparagus from Eckert’s. It’s available at both scoop shops, 730 DeMun Avenue in Clayton and 1637 S. 18th Street in Lafayette Square.

“Fun fact - this all started as a "dare" from Angie Eckert to Tamara Keefe, owner of Clementine's. Eckert's had a lot of asparagus leftover this year and challenged Tamara to come up with an ice cream flavor, which she did!” Clementine’s said.
