ST. LOUIS - It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially in St. Louis.
The Lou was ranked as the 11th best city for Christmas in a new list from finance website WalletHub.
The ranking used 31 factors to determine which cities were jolliest. It wasn’t all about Christmas lights and decorations, otherwise New York City would have been first, which it wasn’t. Orlando came out on top.
St. Louis ranked especially high in observing Christmas (i.e., going to church) and the number of toy stores in the area.
While it was one of the top cities for shopping, St. Louis was toward the bottom half of the list in the generosity category, which includes the number of food banks and how much people give to charities.
