ST. CHARLES CO., Mo. - Police in St. Charles County are investigating after two people were shot during a home invasion Sunday night.
Around 10 p.m., two men showed up in the 3400 block of St. Daphne Drive to make a reported drug transaction. According to a witness, an unknown armed suspect forced their way into the home .
The robbery suspect and individuals in the home started arguing. A man in his early 20s was shot in the chest and a woman in her 50s was shot in the wrist. Both were transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Their conditions are unknown.
The suspects are described as men in their 20s and they were last seen in a red car. Anyone with information should contact 636-949-3000.
