3 shot within an hour, miles of each other in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS - Police are investigating three separate shootings that occurred in St. Louis early Saturday morning.

The first shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m., a victim was shot in the calf during an attempted robbery on the 5300 block of Patton. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A man was found shot in the head near West Florissant and Thrush around 1 a.m. He was conscious and breathing when he was transported to a hospital.

Homicide detectives responded to North Newstead and Ashland around 1:30 a.m. where a man in his 40’s was found shot to death.

It’s unclear if the shootings were related.

No other information has been provided in any of the shootings.
