Man shot to death near Union Station following argument on MetroLink train

ST. LOUIS – Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death near Union Station in downtown St. Louis Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting occurred around 1:35 p.m. near 18th and Clark. A 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at a hospital. The man has been identified as Darian Jordan.

Further investigation revealed two groups of people including Jordan and the suspect got into an argument on a MetroLink train.

Jordan got off the MetroLink train when the 20-year-old man shot him. A citizen drove Jordan to a hospital where he died.

On Thursday, police arrested 20-year-old Jerome Brooks in connection to the shooting. He's being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
