ST. LOUIS – A possible shooting victim died after being pushed out of a car at a St. Louis hospital Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to a hospital after Hazelwood police told them about a possible shooting victim being privately transported from an unknown location.
While in the ER, officers were notified the victim, identified as 33-year-old Nicholas Phillips, had been pushed out of a car in front of the hospital main entrance. The car fled the scene.
Phillips was pronounced dead a short time later, police said. The exact location of the shooting is not known.
