2 arrested at south county Mall admit to sexual abuse of 4-year-old

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A man and woman arrested after an 11-year-old girl was photographed in the restroom of South County Mall admitted to sexually abusing a 4-year-old boy in an unrelated incident.

Heather McDorman, 29, and Zachary Hamby, 28, were charged with invasion of privacy in connection with the incident at South County Mall but were also charged with statutory sodomy in a separate incident.

St. Louis County Police said McDorman was arrested Monday night after taking a photograph of an 11-year-old girl in the bathroom of South County Mall.

In an interview with police, McDorman admitted to taking the photo Monday and said she took similar photos across the area and shared them with a man, 28-year-old Zachary Hamby. He was also taken into custody, and police said they both had suspicious photos on their phones.

Later in their interviews, police said they both admitted to sexually abusing a 4-year-old boy.

Both are being held on $250,000 bonds.
