WATERLOO, Ill. — The Waterloo Police Department is looking for a man they said used fraudulent checks to purchase more than $1,000 in goods from a car dealership.
Police said he used the faulty checks to buy merchandise from the dealership on November 26. In a press release sent out Tuesday, Waterloo police said they learned he did the same thing at two more dealerships in the St. Louis area.
Police said he was driving a silver Ford F150 SuperCrew Cab truck with a bedliner, chrome running boards and a chrome air deflector.
