ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. -- Police are searching for a man who has been charged in connection with the death of a toddler.
Officials said Gyasi Campbell, 24, of Berkeley, has been charged with first degree murder following the death of 2-year-old Kane Friess on April 14.
Campbell had been living with child's mother at the time of the child's death.
The child died from head trauma, but other details about specific injuries or a motive have not been released.
Campbell is not yet in police custody but investigators are searching for him.
