Three men were killed in car crashes Friday and Saturday.
A 19-year-old man was killed Friday night after he drove off Interstate 55 near mile marker 191, flipped his truck and was tossed from the vehicle.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Devyn D. Rodgers was driving north on I-55 when he drove across all five lanes and off the road. As he traveled down the embankment, his 2011 Chevrolet Colorado flipped and he was thrown out.
Rodgers was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The second crash happened at around 3:30 Saturday morning on Interstate 44 at Antire Road.
The crash report said 23-year-old Andrew D. Jeffres of Eureka lost control of his 2010 Ford Fusion and struck the guardrail. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
There was a fatal, multiple-vehicle crash that backed up traffic on the westbound lanes of the Poplar Street Bridge Friday night.
