St. Louis charities win NFL player Chris Long's Pledge 10 for Tomorrow campaign

ST. LOUIS - Two St. Louis nonprofits received the most pledges during NFL player Chris Long's Pledge 10 for Tomorrow campaign, winning an additional $50,000 on top of the $100,000 both organizations already received.

The Little Bit Foundation and College Bound received $100,000 each last October from The Chris Long Foundation, and competed against Summer Search Boston and Summer Search Philadelphia for an additional $50,000. The St. Louis nonprofits received the most pledges during the 2017-2018 football season, which allowed the two nonprofits to split the $50,000 winnings.

Altogether the campaign raised $1.75 million for education, with Little Bit and College Bound bringing in more than $720,000 through 989 individual donations.
