ATLANTA – Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A has temporarily withdrawn its chocolate chunk cookies due to a voluntary recall from its cookie supplier.

CSM Bakery Solutions has issued a voluntary recall of certain lots of Chick-fil-A’s chocolate chunk cookies due to the presence of undeclared peanut allergens.

Because the nutrition and allergen information Chick-fil-A releases indicates the cookie is free from peanuts, the company says it has decided to stop selling the cookies until the issue is resolved.

Customers who have purchased the cookies from Chick-fil-A restaurants are encouraged to discard them, or they may be returned to their local Chick-fil-A location for a full refund.
