TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. (AP) - The commercial real estate company Cushman & Wakefield is adding 600 jobs in the St. Louis area.

The company, along with Gov. Jay Nixon, made the announcement Friday. Most of the new jobs will be in the suburb Town and Country.

Cushman & Wakefield already has about 900 jobs in the region. The company plans to increase the number of workers in several areas, including accounting, human resources and information technology.

The company is based in Chicago.
