INTERACTIVE RADAR | Isolated storms Monday night

Severe threat is diminishing for the St. Louis area.

ST. LOUIS — The severe thunderstorm watch has been dropped for the St. Louis metro area as of 5PM.

Showers and storms continue to push east across the 5 On Your Side viewing area, and the severe weather threat is diminishing. A few storms are possible through the evening with wind gusts between 30-40 mph.

A few lingering showers wrapping around low pressure are possible overnight and into Tuesday, but we should see gradual clearing during the day tomorrow.

We have some great weather coming our way Tuesday night through Thursday, with sunshine, highs in the low 80s, and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Rain chances return Friday, and then we crank up the heat again for next weekend with low 90s by Saturday.
