JENNINGS, Mo. – A man is in custody after police said he led them on a chase after robbing a store at gunpoint in Jennings Tuesday night.
St. Louis County police said they were called to a GameStop on West Florissant for an armed robbery. When they arrived, they saw a vehicle matching the description and attempted to pull the car over, but the car did not stop.
Officers gave chase, and the chase ended a short time later when the driver hit a utility bill and a dumpster. The suspect was taken into custody.
No one was injured in the chase. Police said two St. Louis County police vehicles were hit by a municipal police car that was assisting.
The investigation is ongoing.
