ST. LOUIS – An investigation is underway after a baby died Saturday.
Around 1:30 p.m., officers were called to an apartment on McDonald Avenue in the Tower Grove South neighborhood for an incident with a 5-month-old baby.
The baby was taken to an area hospital, before police arrived, where it later died.
Homicide detectives are investigating, which is a standard procedure for the death of a child.
Police have not released a cause of death at this time.
