ST. LOUIS – Police are looking for a red sedan after shots were fired from the car at a police vehicle in north St. Louis Sunday evening.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police said the incident happened at around 5:30 near the intersection of Halls Ferry Road and Newby Street. Police said they saw a red sedan was driving erratically, and before they could turn on their lights, someone inside the car fired shots at the police vehicle.
Police eventually stopped the chase after they lost sight of the car. A civilian's car was hit by the gunfire, but no one was hurt.
Police said they are looking for a red sedan, but they did not provide a further description.
