ST. LOUIS – The investigation into alleged sexual assault by St. Louis University basketball players has been handed over to the Circuit Attorney's office.
According to a spokeswoman with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the case was handed over to Kimberly Gardner's office on Monday.
Three students were suspended an a fourth was expelled for their alleged roles in the incident, which was reported on Sept. 24, 2017.
SLU's Title IX investigation concluded two weeks ago when freshman Jordan Goodwin was suspended for the final two months of the season.
