ST. LOUIS — Over a dozen St. Louis restaurants are opening both their arms and their doors for an annually celebrated event.

Downtown Restaurant Week, celebrating its 14th year in St. Louis, begins Monday and runs through Sunday. Fifteen restaurants are participating in the six-day event aimed toward bringing both business and attention to St. Louis' centralized eateries.

Carmine's Steak House, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Three Sixty and Tin Roof are among the participating restaurants.

Those interested in eating out do not have to purchase special passes to take part in the event. Rather, each of the participating restaurants have a three-course meal available for either $25 or $35, plus tip and plus tax.

In addition, patrons are encouraged to donate a $5 "Extra Helping" donation which will go to Operation Food Search, who provides nutritious food to the hungry in our community.
