St. Louis County officers investigated their first homicide of the year overnight Sunday.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m., St. Louis County officers with the North County precinct responded to a call for a shooting in 5200 block of Jamestown Bay Court. Upon arriving at the scene, officers spotted an adult man with several gunshot wounds.
An investigation into the incident led officers to discover a disturbance inside the victim's home prior to the shooting. Police believed both the suspect and the victim knew each other.
Monday, officials positively identified the man as 41-year-old Korrey Miller.
No information was given regarding the suspect.
