A student was taken into custody and charged with unlawful use of a weapon after the student was spotted by a classmate trying to take a gun out of a bathroom ceiling tile Monday.
Police responded to Francis Howell Middle School at around 1:40 Monday afternoon where a student spotted the suspect trying to get something out of the ceiling in the boy's bathroom. Police inspected the bathroom ceiling and found the gun.
One student was taken into custody and charged with unlawful use of a weapon. The student is being held at the Juvenile Justice Center.
No one was injured in the incident.
