CLINTON CO., Ill. A 17-year-old was killed and two other teens were injured in a crash Monday morning.
The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. when 17-year-old Avery Crist was driving eastbound on Route 161 near Shoal Creek Road when he lost control of his vehicle and spun out into oncoming traffic. He crossed over into westbound lanes and hit another car with a 17-year-old and 14-year-old. They were both airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese, Illinois. Both are in serious condition.
