According to Michael D. Thiemann, Coordinator of Emergency Management for Metro West Fire Protection District, two teens were rescued at Castlewood Park earlier this afternoon.

The teens were trying to walk down and scale a cliff when they became trapped.

Both were 17-years-old, one male and one female.

Firefighters said this was a complicated rescue due to the steep and soft terrain.

Rescuers had to scale down the cliff on ropes to get the teens.

No injuries were reported.
