Thieves make off with $28,000 of Apple products in smash-and-grab robbery

Arnod Police released these security images in connection with the smash-and-grab robbery of a Target store, The suspects made off with more than $28,000 work of Apple products.

ARNOLD, Mo. – Police are looking for help finding thieves after a smash-and-grab robbery at an Arnold Target store Monday night.

Police said the three male suspects got to the store on Vogel Road at around 10:20 Monday night. After walking around the store to pick up laundry baskets and hammers, they arrived at the electronics section, where Apple products were kept behind glass.

As security video shows, the suspects then smashed out the glass with the hammers and grabbed all the products in the case. In all, they made off with 13 iPads, 9 Apple Watches, 2 iPhones and various attachments. Police said the products were worth a total of more than $28,000.

As the suspects fled the store, they used a hammer to threaten an employee. The fled the scene in a black 4-door vehicle with unknown license plates.
