KSDK – Thousands flocked to St. Louis Family Church Thursday morning to celebrate the life and service of St. Louis County Police Officer Blake Snyder who was killed in the line of duty.
St. Louisans lined interstate overpasses with signs and flags to pay their respects as the funeral procession made its way around the metro area.

The funeral service was led by Pastor Jeff Perry and featured touching eulogies from St. Louis County Executive Steve Stenger, St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar, Pastor Duane Vancil, Blake's brother Adam Snyder, and Blake's brother-in-law Justin Sparks.
The church, which has a capacity of 2,000, was full and the crowd spilled into the parking lot.
Officer Snyder is being laid to rest at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery.
