A Florissant, Missouri, woman was charged Tuesday after she told police she broke into multiple homes and stole clothes.
According to charging documents, Kirsten Starns, 26, is facing ten counts in connection with five break-ins that police said she admitted to during a drive around the area with police.
Documents said the wife of a victim recognized some clothing Starns was wearing as clothing stolen from their home. She reported it to police, who responded to Starns' home.
When police arrived, Starns admitted to breaking into the victim's home and taking the clothes. She also gave police permission to search her home, where they found more stolen property and took Starns into custody.
During her interview with police, she admitted to breaking into other homes and stealing from them. Police said they drove around the area, and Starns pointed out which homes she broke into.
She is facing five counts of second-degree burglary and five counts of stealing property of less than $500. She is being held on $250,000, cash-only bond.
