ST. LOUIS - Show Me St. Louis reporter Dana Dean has renewed her contract with 5 On Your Side. She has worked at the station since 2008.
Dana came to 5 On Your Side as a multi-skilled journalist for Show Me St. Louis, writing, shooting, and editing her own stories. She moved to the news department for several years and reported for Today in St. Louis before moving back to Show Me. She has three Mid-America Emmy Awards and enjoys getting out into the community and meeting viewers.
“I’m not from St. Louis, but wouldn’t want to call any other place home,” said Dana. “We live here, we work here, and we love it here.”

Before joining 5 On Your Side, Dana worked at a news station in upstate New York where she met her husband, 5 On Your Side’s Ryan Dean. They married in 2011 and their son, Jack, was born in 2014. Dana and Ryan can often be seen emceeing charity events together around town.
