St. Louis support dogs in Parkland, Fla. helping kids cope after shooting

They plan to remain in Florida through the week, and go where they're needed throughout the community.

PARKLAND, Fla. – St. Louis area support dogs are providing comfort to students in Parkland after the horrific school shooting nearly one week ago.

The golden retrievers from Lutheran Church Charities were at the elementary school Tuesday.

Several students at the elementary school have siblings at Stoneman Douglas High School, where the shooting took place.

They plan to remain in Florida through the week, and go where they're needed throughout the community.
