Talk about customer service.

Bloomfield Township, Mich. police say a shoplifter walked out of Lowe's with $2,500 worth of stolen hardwood flooring – and somehow managed to get store employees to carry the merchandise to his truck.

The incident occurred Oct. 12 at the Lowe's store in Bloomfield Township, Mich.. Police say the suspect entered the store and loaded a flat cart with boxes of hardware flooring. He then told a cashier on his way out that he already paid for the items.

He loaded up his truck and came back for more.

Store cameras show the suspect re-entering Lowe's and asking employees to take down another pallet of flooring. The same employees then load up the cart and exit the store with the customer to help load the merchandise into his truck.

Loss prevention later discovered the man never paid for the flooring.

Investigators released a surveillance photograph of the man and said he drove off in a dark-colored, newer model, GMC pickup with an extended cab.
