SLU's first year head coach, Travis Ford, continues to clean up on the recruiting trail. On Wednesday he caught his biggest fish yet, when Webster Groves' Carte'are Gordon made a pledge to the Billikens.

Gordon, a 5 star recruit, picked the Billikens over Mizzou and Kansas. ESPN has him ranked as the 9th best player in the Class of 2018. He is the highest ranked recruit to commit to the Billikens since Larry Hughes, who was a McDonald's All-American in 1997.

Carte'are Gordon is not the only local player to join Travis Ford at SLU. Four star recruit, Jordan Goodwin, from Althoff will join the team next season.
