Eleby named large school player of the year

Pattonville senior quarterback Kaleb Eleby was named our large school player of the year.

Many times the player of the year award goes to the player who put up the biggest stats.
While Pattonville's Kaleb Eleby didn't lead the area in yards or touchdowns, he was top ten in both. What pushed him over the edge is his four years of leadership and getting Pattonville to the biggest game, the state championship.

It was the school's first appearance in 17 years.

Eleby says, "this senior class put the "P" back in Pattonville."

They also put a lot of "W's" in the standings too, and Eleby had plenty to do with that. The senior quarterback threw for over 2,800 yards and 27 touchdowns in his final season in the Pattonville uniform.

It is the end of what was a superb career for Eleby. He started for all four years, something he predicted before he was even a student at the high school.

Iin his career he threw for just under 10,000 yards and 89 touchdowns.
