Westbound Interstate 70 will be decreased to two lanes near Interstate 170 for two weeks starting Wednesday, Oct. 19.

According to a press release from MoDOT, crews will be working on bridge repairs on the interchange, causing the closure of the right lane. Traffic will shift to the left lanes.

A MoDOT spokesperson tells NewsChannel 5 that the closures will take place around 5 a.m.

All the scheduled work is weather permitting.
