The dates and theme have been announced for PrideFest 2017.

The dates and theme have been announced for St. Louis PrideFest 2017.

It will be held downtown at Soldiers Memorial again from June 23 to the 25th.

This year's theme is "Community Proud", reflecting the organization's efforts to engage more fully with the community.

“The theme reflects and celebrates our long and storied history as a community, but also looks towards the future and all that we can accomplish together," said Matt Harper, president of the Pride St. Louis board of directors.

More than 250,000 people attended the festival in 2016, and organizers hope to grow the festival to the largest free pride festival in the country, as well as the largest downtown festival in St. Louis.

Registration for vendors and parade entries is now open. Interested organizations can register at register.pridestl.org.
