ST. LOUIS - One of Forest Park's biggest events of the year will take place in a new location.
The 45th annual Great Forest Park Balloon Glow and Race is moving to Art Hill from the Central Fields this fall. The race, which will take place on September 15 and 16, is moving temporarily as the park works to renovate the Central Fields.
More than 150,000 people are expected to attend the event to see 60 hot air balloons as they glow then launch from Art Hill. Organizers say it's the largest fall event in the St. Louis region and the largest sporting event in Missouri.
