Miley Cyrus St. Louis concert cancelled

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Miley Cyrus announced via Twitter Wednesday morning she has to cancel her St. Louis concert Wednesday night.

In a series of tweets, the pop star writes, "I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there. The hospital is sayin I wont be released today. Therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St. Louis. Im so sorry but somethings are outta my control."

Scottrade Center later confirmed the report in a short news release.

The 21-year-old singer cancelled her Kansas City show Tuesday night after she was hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.

Tuesday night, publicist Meghan Prophet says in a statement that Cyrus is on "medical rest" at her doctors' advice.

Refunds will be available for those who purchased their tickets at the box office. If your tickets were purchased online or via phone through Ticketmaster, refunds will automatically be applied.

No word on whether the show will be scheduled for another future date.
