City of Maplewood Coffee Crawl, Saturday, Apr, 5, 8:00am-1:00pm

Live music and coffee will fill the air in Historic Downtown Maplewood this weekend. Regional coffee roasters will be available to answer any questions you might have about their coffees from around the world. At 10:00am Box of Nerves will be playing in the Citizens National Bank Park.

A Tasteful Affair 26, Four Seasons Hotel, Sunday, Apr. 6, 2:00-5:30pm

Food Outreach's A Tasteful Affair will be all the rage with a Roaring 20's theme. There will be samplings from more than 50 local restaurants and hundreds of unique auction items to bid on. There is guaranteed to be something for everyone! All proceeds go to benefit Food Outreach.

Go! St. Louis Marathon, St. Louis, Friday - Sunday

The Go! St. Louis Marathon, one of the Midwest's largest competitive sporting events will have the city buzzing this weekend. Starting on Friday there will be a Health and Fitness Expo at Chaifetz Arena, followed by family fun events and a 5k on Saturday, and culminating with the marathon on Sunday.

William Shearburn Gallery Opening, William Shearburn, Friday, Apr. 4, 5:00 - 8:00

The William Shearburn Gallery will be celebrating its the opening of its newest location. Proceeds from sales between April 4-17 will benefit The Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis' new program " AP Portfolio Day". The AP Portfolio Day program invites high school art students from St. Louis Public Schools to share their work with art professionals in an effort to help advance their portfolios.

New Magic: a collaborative exhibit by Hap Phillips and Nita Turnage, SOHA Gallery, Friday, Apr. 4, 6:00pm

Hap and Nita are multi-media artists who have been creative partners for over fourteen years. They work in a variety of forms including installation, painting and sculpture. For them, making art together is an opportunity to express their individual talents and create work that is more expansive than either artist could accomplish alone. This show will feature collaborative art as well as new work by each individual artist.

BB King, The Peabody, Friday, Apr. 4, 8:00pm

The reigning king of blues since the 1950's, BB King will be performing at The Peabody Opera House. Performing his countless blues and crossover hits, the guitar legend will be playing this one show in St. Louis.

Fundraising Party for Central Print, Firecracker Press-Old North Location, Friday, Apr. 4, 6:00pm

Central Print, a new non-profit by the folks at Firecracker Press, will be having a fundraising party at their new location in the revitalized Old North St. Louis. The party will include food, drink, and a "made on the spot" poster. As a bonus attendees will also get a tour of the newest Firecracker Press facility. Central Print will offer classes and workshops for kids and adults by offering open studio hours and teaching the art of printmaking. Tickets are available at Firecrackerpress.com
