Harriette Thompson, 94, became the oldest woman to finish a half-marathon Sunday, according to organizers of the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon.
A two-time cancer survivor, Thompson finished in 3 hours, 42 minutes, 56 seconds.
She also set a world record in 2015 at the San Diego Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, becoming the oldest woman to complete a full marathon, according to a news release.
Through the years, she has raised $100,000 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
