Brush up on Liam Neeson knowledge before the Tonight Show

KSDK – Liam Neeson joins Terry Crews and emo icon Conor Oberst on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon tonight right after NewsChannel 5 at 10.

The ladies of the NewsChannel 5 web team admit to enjoy looking at Liam Neeson, but they're ashamed to say they don't know that much about him. So did they some research, and here's what they found out:

-Liam used to be a forklift operator for Guinness…as well as a truck driver, assistant architect and an amateur boxer

-He originally wanted to be a teacher

-He joined the Belfast Lyric Players' Theater in 1976

-His first high-profile film role was as Gawain in "Excalibur"

-Liam was nominated for an Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe for his role in "Schindler's List"

-He was nominated for a Tony for his performance in "Anna Christie." It's also where he met future wife Natasha Richardson

-He was awarded Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 1999 for his work in film and television

-He's 6'4"

-When he's not acting, he enjoys fly fishing

-He quit boxing after he blacked out during a match

-He could've been James Bond! He was considered for the role in "Goldeneye"

-He agreed to play Qui-Gon Jinn in "Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace" without every reading a script (ok…that actually makes sense)
