12-year-old Jarod is a little shy when you first meet him. But as soon as he knows you care, he opens right up. His smile lights up a room. Jarod is a really great kid. He loves to laugh and have fun.
He said the hardest parts about foster care are not having a family and moving around so much. He has lived in ten different places since he came into care just three years ago.
Jarod wants a family who he can trust and will help him become a special operations solider. He wants to serve our country when he graduates high school.
This pre-teen also has a little wish. He would like to spend the day riding go-carts.
If you would like to learn more about adopting Jarod or granting his little wish, please call the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition at 1-800-FOSTER3.
A big thanks to Kids' World Gymnastics for giving Jarod the VIP treatment. To learn more about classes and camps, please call (314) 838-5867.
