Stacie and Courtney are sister with smiles that can light up a room! Courtney, age 14, loves music and singing. Her favorite musical artist is Nicki Minaj, but she will sing nearly anything and often creates parodies to songs. Courtney also likes reading, especially books by Jodi Picoult. Courtney has read nearly all of the books by that author! She enjoys drawing, too. Once, Courtney combined her love for books and her talent for drawing by creating an amazing portrait of her favorite author! Friends describe Courtney as open minded and fun to be around. Courtney would love to become a singer. More than anything, Courtney wants to be with her sister. Courtney is only able to see Stacie on occasion, and wishes she could share a home with her.
Stacie, age 15, loves basketball. Her proudest moment was scoring 13 points in one game! In fact, she says she is happiest when on the basketball court or in school. Stacie is an excellent, honor roll student. Her favorite subjects are math and science. She is really enjoying her Algebra class. Stacie also likes writing essays and has quite a talent when it comes to reeling in her readers. Stacie is in the school band and plays the clarinet. Stacie is multi-talented and she says that she is easily able to pick up other instruments and play them as well! Stacie loves music and is a big fan of the band, One Direction. Those who know Stacie say that her smile is infectious and describe her as bubbly and outgoing. She loves spending time with her friends and says that she is friends with all kinds of people. Stacie wants to go to college so that she can help children and babies someday as a pediatrician or a NICU (neonatal Intensive care unit) nurse! Before all of that, Stacie hopes for a loving family who she can enjoy being with.
