15-year-old
Tommy is an intelligent, handsome young man with many talents and a great
personality. Tommy enjoys outdoor activities like fishing, hiking,
basketball, and swimming. He likes fishing so much that he even chose to
write a school paper about the Greek God of the Ocean, Poseidon. When not
outside, Tommy relaxes inside by playing video games, reading, sketching or
painting, and cooking. Tommy says he doesn't mind being indoors as long as it's
in a tidy house! He jokes that he "hates a messy house." Tommy doesn't
joke about his love of cleaning, though!
Tommy
likes school because he does well.
His favorite subjects are literature and art. He does well in both. Tommy's
goal is to attend college and then begin his career as a Marine Biologist or
maybe even a Nuclear Scientist!
Tommy wants a forever family who will
show him new life experiences. He wants parents who will help him with
his homework, have fun with him, and love him for the rest of his life.
Tommy said, "Money can't buy love." He doesn't care if his adoptive
parents are rich or poor, "as long as they love me." Tommy did say that
he wouldn't mind living near a park, however!
Tommy also has a little wish. He would like to see a Cardinals game. If you would like more information about becoming part of Tommy's life or granting his little wish, please call the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition at 1-800-FOSTER3.
A special thank you to the Science Center for giving Tommy the VIP treatment. For more on Summer Camps and the latest exhibits, please visit www.slsc.org.
