In 2002, NewsChannel 5 started an adoption project called “A Place to Call Home.” We wanted to do something that would impact St. Louis for years to come. When you find a child a forever home, you break a cycle and give that child hope for a bright future. We also realize not everyone can foster or adopt a child from foster care, but still want to make a difference.
Announcements
Through the Birthday Buddy program, a donating child agrees to give some or all of his/her birthday presents to a foster child who is also celebrating a birthday.
