Derby brunch supports seniors in need

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Guests donned their biggest and fanciest hats Sunday at the third annual Derby Brunch supporting low-income and at-risk seniors.

The brunch was held at Magic Chef Mansion in St. Louis City, and featured mint juleps, craft beer and food from some of the area's notable chefs and restaurants.

Cassy Vires of Home Wine Kitchen and Jason Bockman of Strange Donuts helped judge the food.

Carol Ann Miller of Fashions from the Past was also on-hand with a vintage hat display and guests had the option to take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the historic grounds.

Proceeds supported the St. Andrew's Charitable Foundation. Visit for more information.
