ST. LOUIS - All this month NewsChannel 5's Nichole Berlie has been profiling local businesses and some of their pumpkin-flavored food or drinks.
Viewer Theresa Reck gave Pint Size Bakery a shoutout on Twitter and said we just had to stop by and check out their drunken pumpkin cupcakes, so we decided to give them a try.
The owners of Pint Size Bakery say everything, including the fresh pumpkin cupcakes full of fall spices, is made fresh daily. Once they're gone for the day, that's it.
So what takes these pumpkin cupcakes up a notch to "drunken pumpkin cupcakes?"
"We knew we needed some warm kind of fall-spice flavors and decided to add some RumChata. It makes it so creamy and so nice and a little extra cinnamon to go with it as well, and it just the creamiest best buttercream on the moistest cupcake ever!" said Christy Augustin.
